HERE’S HOW I MADE THE SPIRITUAL POWER OF HOPE CARD:
CUT AND SCORE WITH THE STAMPIN’ UP TRIMMER:
- Card base 5.50″ x 4.25″ – scored and folded
- Cut Basic Black 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ – snail to card front
- Cut Shimmery White 5.25″ x 4″
- For inside card cut Basic Black 5.25″ x 4″
- Shimmery White 5″ x 3.75″
DIE CUT WITH ORNATE FRAMES:
- Cut using Real Red
STAMPED WITH POWER OF HOPE:
- Stamp temple with Soft Suede using Stamparatus
- Blend temple with Blending Pen
- Stamp a template on scratch paper and fussy cut for a mask
- Stamp sentiment on die cut Ornate Frame and attache with dimensionals
- Inside card stamp sentiment with Stamparatus
- Stamp Lanterns in Real Red ink
- Color in Lanterns with Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Write Marker
STAMPED IN MY MEADOW:
- Stamp bridge in Soft Suede
- Use Blending Pen to blend
- Stamp bridge on scratch paper and fussy cut for mask
- Also, stamp the two different sized clouds in Seaside Spray
- Lastly, stamp birds in Memento
STAMP WITH ROOTED IN NATURE:
- Stamp Trees using blocks inked with Stampn’ Write Markers Soft Suede and Garden Green
- Then stamp trees on scratch paper and fussy cut for mask
STAMP WITH SNOWFRONT:
- Stamp Mountain in Memento
- Then stamp mountain on scratch paper and fussy cut for mask
STAMP WITH HIGH TIDE:
- Stamp water with Seaside Spray
STEPS TO ASSEMBLE THE SPIRITUAL POWER OF HOPE CARD:
FRONT OF CARD – WATCH VIDEO:
- Stamp (with Stamparatus) and mask temple
- Then Stamp (with Stamparatus) and mask mountain
- Also, stamp with block and mask trees
- Stamp (with block)and mask bridge
- Make a mask for where you want your river
- Decide where the grass should end and sky begin
- Sponge grass area with Old Olive ink
- Then Sponge sky in Seaside Spray
- Sponge sky again on the outside and a bit inside sky in Balmy Blue
- Remove all masks except for bridge
- Make a mask to cover grass and tree area
- Sponge river in Seaside Spray
- Stamp (with block) river water with High Tide
- Remove bridge mask and make a little path from bridge with Blending Pen and Soft Suede
- Take a Blending Pen and blend everything especially white area around trees (see video)
- Stamp birds from My Meadow in Memento
- Add a bit of snow to the mountain with the Stampin’ Chalk Marker
- Attach sentiment frame with Dimensionals
INSIDE CARD – watch video:
- Snail Basic Black then also snail Shimmery White to card
- Using your Stamparatus stamp sentiment and lantern
- To stamp more lanterns just move Stamparatus plate down (see video)
